Ballarat will be hosting a Regional Final of the Australian National Busking Championships on Saturday 24th March 2018 with buskers performing throughout the CBD.
How It All Works !
* The Busking Performance Day is from 10am to 4pm
* Ideally Buskers perform 4 x 40min sessions spread anytime over the Busking Day at different hot-spots

* Roaming Judges will invite selected buskers to perform in the Final Concert from 5pm, when judges/audience decide their final winners

Information
The Australian National Busking Championships (ANBC), now in it's seventh year, is a different sort of festival for Australia, and the competitions are occurring in more regional areas. The ANBC Ballarat is a celebration of all forms of street entertainment, with Buskers performances bringing a huge variety of skill to the event.The Competition
Pre-registered Buskers will perform from 10am to 4pm at assigned Busking Hot Spots around the Central Business District of Ballarat. Throughout the day, roaming judges will select a number of Buskers to perform at the finals concert held from 5pm the same day, where the judges and audience will make their final decision on the winners.Spectators are FREE !!!
At the ANBC all the street entertainment is provided FREE of charge. The audience can of course tip the busker if they wish. All the wonderful entertainment is performed literally feet from the spectator.

The People's Choice Award is a chance for everyone to vote for their favourite Busker, here's how it works ...1
You buy specially printed Busker Votes - $1 each from the Wendouree Breakfast Rotary Club Stall or other roaming sellers2
You vote for your favourite Busker by placing your Busker Votes into their collection container be it hat / guitar case etc.3
The Buskers will have their Busker Votes collected and counted by event officials, and the top 3 Buskers will be presented with the award at the Finals Concertas simple as 1-2-3 !
About Us
The ANBC is the brainchild of Allan Spencer from the Cooma School of Music. The ANBC Ballarat Regional Final is brought to you by the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast. The Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast has members who are passionate and dedicated to supporting local and international projects. Our Club provides opportunities for business networking, personal development and a range of fun social activities. We meet at Lederman Hall in Ascot St on Wednesdays at 7:15am till 8:20am for breakfast. In 2015 we celebrated 25 years of service.
